Since receiving my degree in Illustration from Academy of Art University, I have worked in both children’s book and animation industries. I started my work in children’s book industry with some writer clients. I have also created many greeting cards for different occasions. It is a joyful occupation and is full of surprises even for myself!
Some of the children’s books that I have illustrated so far are, The Angel Who Fell from Heaven (by Forrest Phelps Cook), The Giggle Bug (by Sara Norman Onstad), Vacancy (by Caitlin Malone), Groar (by Gary Bunker) and Stone Soup with Matzo Balls (by Linda Glaser). In the meantime, I have also worked on two personal book projects which were near and dear to my heart; The Missing Toy and How to Spend a Day with Your Dinosaur.
In 2011, as I started my studies in Animation, another field opened up in front of me with more exciting opportunities. I started as background artist and color designer. Lady with Flower Hair (directed by Sarah Tabibzadeh) is amongst my works. I have also created two short animated movies; RED and Make it yourself, the latter being my graduation project.
I have never stopped loving what I do; it is truly my one and only passion.
